Stourbridge cameo glass biscuit barrel –c188
Stourbridge (likely Thomas Webb) cameo glass biscuit barrel with silver plated lid and handle.
Size: Approximately 6 ½ “(16 ½ cm) high to the top of the lid by 5 ¼ “(13 ½ cm) across at its widest
Maker: The glass has no makers marks.
The silver plated mounts were made by Mark Willis, Sheffield who manufactured between 1872 and 1885
Condition: The glass is in good condition. The handle is slightly bent and the silver plate has some wear. The lid has a small shallow dent on the rim and there is a scrape on the top edge of neck rim.
